NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES CONCERNING FALSE PROMISES BY THE UNION

Recently, the SEIU (Union) has filed an election petition on November 7, 2024, at the National Labor Relations Board (a neutral government agency) to determine if you really want to be represented by the Union. The Union probably took you out to dinner, contacted you at home or work to state they will guarantee you higher wages and benefits and better job security. A Helping Hand Home Heath Care (Company) believes that this is just a standard empty campaign promise by the Union, just like a politician's promise.


Between now and the election, the Union will continue to promise you the best contract, more job security, increased wages, health insurance, holidays, vacation that might exist at other Union companies. DON’T FALL FOR THE UNION'S FALSE PROMISES and LIES. Our company absolutely GUARANTEES  in writing that these union promises are false. We pay your wages and benefits and not the Union. The Union can’t GUARANTEE anything. 


Unfortunately, it is legal for Union organizers to make all kinds of false promises. However, the law prohibits our Company from making any promises at all for higher wages and benefits during the election.


Apparently, the Union uses this loophole in the law to try to mislead employees into believing it can GUARANTEE higher wages and benefits. Get them to SIGN our GUARANTEE below.


During the upcoming weeks you can look forward to a lot more letters, handouts, meetings and personal appeals from the Union who want to convince you that they can magically provide you with “job security and higher-wages and benefits." We know you are smart enough to know these promises cannot be believed.


Why do our employees need an outside party to bargain for you and take you hard-earned money in dues, which is approximately $55 to $60 per month or $664 yearly or more, along with other expenses like initiation fees, when we know that a happy group of employees is necessary to our success? In fact, according to the Center of Unionfacts in DC, the Union in 2017 had approximately 10,320 members and now in 2020 they only have 9273 members which is a loss of 10% of their membership since over 1047 employees did not want to pay the union’s high cost of dues of $60 per month. In fact, as with other Union Contracts, if you do not pay your dues or other fees, the Union could ask our Company to fire you after 30 days of employment or the signing of a contract if you do not pay Union dues.


Please don't fall for the Union's pressure tactics and false promises and lies. Our Company believes you have the right to join or not join the Union. It is a free country. But we do not think we need the Union at our company. We hope you agree to vote NO against the Union. 11-7-24
